Gattaca (1997)
Movie
Released
A society that sorts people by genetic prospects makes ambition feel like trespassing. Ethan Hawke's determined applicant and Jude Law's bitter collaborator turn that premise into an uneasy relationship between two men carrying different disappointments. The elegant surfaces help the discrimination look normal, which makes the moments of loyalty land harder.
