The Matrix Reloaded (2003)
Movie
Released
The freeway pursuit contains substantial real driving, crashes and motorcycle work on a purpose-built road, alongside the digital transformations and superhuman action. Effects supervisor Clay Pinney's account describes rigged vehicles working among a large driving team, rather than an empty road populated later. Follow the changing lanes and shrinking safe spaces around Trinity. The film is uneven outside its action, but this sequence makes a complicated environment feel like a physical trap.
