Tom Cruise flying a helicopter makes the cockpit close-ups unusually persuasive, but Wade Eastwood's stunt planning and the aerial crew make the whole pursuit possible. The later crashes also use controlled rigs rather than asking aircraft to do everything seen in the finished sequence. Choose this Ethan Hunt adventure for the way tight subjective views and wide mountain shots keep both the person and the route in play.
