Venom (2018)
Movie
Released
Tom Hardy turns Eddie Brock's relationship with his alien occupant into an argument conducted through one body: sudden recoils, swallowed protests and an ungainly scramble for composure. The film's horror, superhero action and broad comedy do not always settle into the same rhythm. Hardy makes the collision productive, giving you a flustered physical comedian to follow between the noisy fights.
