Black Dynamite (2009)
Movie

Michael Jai White makes the action convincing enough for the production mishaps and elaborate conspiracy to become jokes around it. The film understands the sounds, framing and confidence of 1970s exploitation cinema rather than relying only on costume recognition. Its broad racial and sexual caricatures are part of the satire, but they still make it a taste-dependent group choice.

About Black Dynamite
This is the story of 1970s African-American action legend Black Dynamite. The Man killed his brother, pumped heroin into local orphanages, and flooded the ghetto with adulterated malt liquor. Black Dynamite was the one hero willing to fight The Man all the way from the blood-soaked city streets to the hallowed halls of the Honky House.
