Kumbalangi Nights (2019)
Movie

Malayalam, directed by Madhu C. Narayanan. Four brothers' uncomfortable household makes affection look like something people have to learn to practise. Around them, a more polished version of masculinity proves far less secure than its owner believes. The coastal setting is lived-in rather than a postcard. Choose it for a family drama that moves from loose humour towards real menace.
