Bengali, directed by Aditya Vikram Sengupta. A bereaved woman tries to find independence in a city where private hopes and new money keep colliding. Buildings, roads and business promises give the relationships a changing physical world to negotiate. Choose it for atmospheric urban drama rather than a quick tour of Kolkata; its patient ensemble structure asks you to live with uncertainty.
