Games Where Movement Alone Is Worth the Price of Entry

Sometimes a good route is enough reason to make the journey again. These games turn swinging, skating, wall-running, gliding or a well-judged jump into a pleasure you can practise and express. The picks include open spaces for improvising and compact courses for polishing a line, with several genres represented. Each note describes what you do with your hands, where the movement finds its depth and what needs patience at first. Combat, stories and objectives may provide the destination; getting there earns its own attention.
