Cover-Up (2025)
Movie

Seymour Hersh's notebooks and primary documents turn reporting into a material process: a source has to be found, a claim tested and an institution persuaded to answer. Laura Poitras and Mark Obenhaus shape decades of work into a political thriller about obtaining and publishing evidence. The 2025 film is also a portrait of a guarded, argumentative subject. Its admiration does not mean viewers should treat every claim across his controversial career as equally established.
