Cops (1922)
Movie
Released
Keaton moves through a city where objects and mistaken assumptions gather consequences faster than he can organise them. The short format keeps the escalation especially sharp. Its pleasure is the readable transfer from one practical predicament to another, with a restored image helping small movements remain visible.
