The Incredibles (2004)
Movie
Released
Bob Parr misses the public identity that once made him feel exceptional, while the work of keeping a family together is happening around him. Pixar turns the eventual teamwork into an argument about whose abilities and needs he has overlooked. Action staged with comic clarity keeps that family conflict moving, while giving the celebration of specialness some useful friction.
