Tremors (1990)
Movie
Released
The residents of a desert settlement have to turn ordinary knowledge into a survival plan when the ground stops being safe. Different personalities keep producing different useful ideas, giving the creature's rules something to work against. Ron Underwood's film does not need a grand allegory to earn its place: resourcefulness, comic timing and a convincing small community are enough. Choose it for an especially satisfying balance of monster mechanics and people you enjoy watching cooperate.
