Troll Hunter (2010)
Movie
Released
Student filmmakers follow an exhausted specialist into a landscape where folklore has become an inconvenient government responsibility. The mock-documentary form makes equipment, paperwork and tired explanations part of the comedy. André Øvredal gives the trolls impressive scale while treating their management as a strange job somebody has to do. A good choice for dry humour and creature-world detail, with shaky-camera stretches and a deliberately matter-of-fact delivery.
