Batman Forever (1995)
Movie
Released
Seal and U2 are the famous entrances, but PJ Harvey's One Time Too Many and the Flaming Lips' Bad Days give this compilation its lasting eccentricity. Massive Attack with Tracey Thorn adds another register again. The mix is more surprising than the film's repeated contest of bright sets and louder villains. Recommend the song album for its changing personalities, while leaving room for affection for Joel Schumacher's extravagant film. It is distinct from Elliot Goldenthal's orchestral score, and several selections belong to the album rather than the action.

About Batman Forever
Batman faces off against two foes: the schizophrenic, horribly scarred former District Attorney Harvey Dent, aka Two-Face, and the Riddler, a disgruntled ex-Wayne Enterprises inventor seeking revenge against his former employer by unleashing his brain-sucking weapon on Gotham City's residents. As the caped crusader also copes with tortured memories of his parents' murder, he has a new romance, with psychologist Chase Meridian.
